How to Measure Kilt Size

Kilt Waist Size Measurement

Waist: Take the waist measurement at the navel level, ensuring a snug fit. This is typically about 2 inches above the hip bone or slightly higher than where you usually wear your trousers.

Kilt Hip Measurement

Hip: Stand with your feet together and measure around the widest part of your hips. Make sure your pockets are empty, though it's not essential.

Kilt Fell Measurement

Fell: This measurement should be taken midway between the waist and the seat (bottom). The fell refers to the distance from the waistline to the hip measurement line. It is not essential.

Kilt Length Measurement

Length: Kneel on the ground, place the measuring tape on the floor, and measure up to your belly button. Keep in mind that kilts shouldn't be too long!
